We have another episode out!

Episode #77 explores the cyberpunk classic Hackers. Excuse me, cyberpunk "classic." Excuse me, "cyberpunk" "classic."
I had a lot of fun watching it again. I would assume that most people would, as well. It's a big, silly movie that hasn't aged all that well and creates a kind of befuddlement that I find chamring.
Cruz didn't agree. But what are you going to do? You can't bring a horse to water. But you can shoot that horse and use it to make cat food. Think about that, Cruz, the next time you want to shit on one of my favorite cult movies.
Cruz is not only an enemy of fun, but he is now a de facto enemy of the AV Club. Does his debauchery know no bounds? How does himself in the mirror?
Of course the podcast isn't actually ending, it's becoming A Quality Interruption. And even if you did deeply care for the manic nonsense that was the WGSG show, I have my suspicions that it isn't going to go away entirely.

Near Dark Arriveth!
Sorry for being so late on the blog front. I'm still not used to updating this thing.
Episode #75 is out! It's on the excellent, underground vampire flick Near Dark. Even if you hate our asses, do yourself a favor and check this movie out!
Do it!
There's another important fact that I'd like to mention: We are changing the name of the podcast. Which is to say, we are starting a new podcast. It is going to be called A Quality Interruption.
A Quality Interruption will follow the same basic format of one movie to one episode, with maybe a few new ideas thrown in. So, if you like White Guys, Square Glasses, please make sure to make the switch over to A Quality Interruption. We already have a blank Facebook page . Go ahead and follow that so you won't miss any more news on that front.
Other than that please enjoy this awesome vampire movie!

Praise Stalin!
We've got a new episode up!
We talk about spies and writing and not a whole lot of anything interesting. Sorry. Maybe next time?
In the mean time enjoy this trailer--
Man, that was a simpler time, wasn't it?

Our Latest Hunk of Misery
Episode 37 is now out in the wild.
It's a miniature episode about the Academy Award nominations and as hard as we try to avoid the usual pitfalls that can be expected on people writing about the Oscars, it still has its own wikipedia section.
There isn't much that can be said about the Oscars that isn't said every single year and repeatedly and, more often than not, un-ironically. We try, though. We really did try.
Anyways, speaking of great movies of 2011, Drive comes out today on Blurray and DVD. (Seriously though, buy it from a local business and not frigging Amazon. Local revenue simply can't compete with juggernuats! And if juggernauts are all you pray to they'll be the only things that are left over when the lizardmen come out of their caves to rule the post-volcanic earth, maaaaaaaan.)
